Increase your Android's capacity to install apps...

Here is a little tutorial that describes a simple way to prevent your Android mobile from getting overstuffed. The average Android user installs over 80 apps. This forum post offers a solution to increase the limit. It works on rooted phones and sets some space from the SD card to be used to virtually enlarge the internal memory.

Increase the delay to send email in Gmail

Sometimes you click the Send button a wee bit too quickly... and then realize you forgot to add the link you wrote about or just plain old changed your mind about what you were writing.

Well Gmail has  the UNDO option.

Just activate it in your Gmail settings under Labs. Then in the General section of your Gmail settings, you can increase the delay up to 30 seconds.

Backup your family pictures... Now!

There is no reason not to anymore. Flickr (flickr.com) offers 1 terabyte of free storage for your pictures at whatever resolution you saved them at originally. This improves on Google+ storage that is maxed out at 15 Gigabytes for resolutions higher than 2048px. For Android users, your pictures can be automatically synchronized on Google+ at 2048px (on the longest edge = approx. 4 Mb.) resolution and there is no limit to the quantities you can store.

Keep in mind that your laptop or desktop hard drive WILL fail one day. The only safe backups are in the cloud or anywhere else outside your home.
